    small hotel, big room for improvement

    I was drawn in by the friendly owner, but the overwhelming mothball smell in the lobby was tough to bear. Neither the squeaky bed nor the broken mini-fridge added to the experience.

    I felt right at home . The bed was comfortable, and the TV offered good channels. I was initially worried about not getting through on the phone, but that changed when I noticed how clean everything was. The staff provided helpful service throughout. I appreciated the extra amenities like a microwave in the room for some snacks. As a European traveler, the simplicity was refreshing.

    The thin walls made it easy to hear noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. I noticed some issues with the phone connection when trying to reach the reception.

    Camino real is a quaint hotel with super clean rooms. I loved how cozy my room felt, even though it was small. The location is great, very close to the attractions, and the feeling of safety. Plus, those recreational opportunities were a fun bonus!
